For patients with heart problems, the initial cardiology consultation and subsequent consultations are essential parts of a medical treatment process. Not only do consultations play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of a heart condition, they are also crucial in educating the patient on lifestyle changes required to prevent the condition from worsening or to hasten the recovery process.
Lifestyle changes typically include eating the right diet, avoiding certain activities, and maintaining a healthy weight.

Antenatal care is the systemic supervision of women during pregnancy to monitor the progress of foetal growth and to ascertain the well-being of the mother and the foetus. A proper antenatal check-up provides necessary care to the mother and helps identify any complications of pregnancy such as anaemia, pre-eclampsia and hypertension etc. in the mother and slow/inadequate growth of the foetus. Antenatal care allows for the timely management of complications through referral to an appropriate facility for further treatment. It also provides opportunity to prepare a birth plan and identify the facility for delivery and referral in case of complications.
Lots of people can benefit from working with a nutritionist, for many different reasons–whether you need a complete diet overhaul, are looking to manage a medical condition, want to fine-tune your food choices, or get inspiration for new, healthy recipes. It’s best to book a nutrition consultation after a check-up with your primary care provider. That can help inform whether you have any specific conditions that can be addressed with nutrition, such as elevated blood sugar or cholesterol, or blood pressure issues.
